Gothenburg/Sweden, December 3, 2015 – ARCCORE further strengthens its Board of Directors: As of December 1, 2015, the independent provider of AUTOSAR solutions appointed Fredrika Hörlin as a new member and Thomas Pantzar as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. By reinforcing its executive staff, ARCCORE effectively drives its own growth. Just recently the company has delivered solutions and support for realizing high-end central display ECUs for a premium car OEM and was chosen by a top brand Tier 1 customer to deliver a tailor-made solution including a hybrid AUTOSAR/Linux platform for a high-end infotainment ECU.
“ARCCORE is a fantastic company with a great potential to play an important role in the rapidly growing market for embedded software products and services in the automotive industry”, said Thomas Pantzar, the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at ARCCORE. “I’m looking forward to my new role, the opportunity to work with the management team, and to supporting them in their high ambitions in the upcoming years.”
Thomas Pantzar (53) holds a degree as MSc in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. He has a long-standing experience from fast-growing companies driven by entrepreneurs. At Teleca, for instance, he worked from their very start until he finally acted as their executive vice president for five years, at that time a Group counting 4000 employees in 17 countries. Moreover, Thomas has developed several technology and software companies in international environments: Like Sigma Systems, part of the Sigma Group for which he later built up the international operation in technical systems development and headed the Technical IT unit as their CEO, as well as Acorn Technology, a software services company specializing on delivering system development and embedded software services. Thomas Pantzar’s experience and network will strongly help ARCCORE in its ambitious expansion plans.
Fredrika Hörlin (50) holds a Master of Laws from the University of Lund. Having her as a new Member of the Board, ARCCORE will benefit from Fredrika’s extensive experience with smaller, fast-growing companies: From her 20 years of working experience in business law, she knows the challenges and can draw from the wisdom of similar owner-led companies in various industries. Fredrika is co-owner of the law firm Wåhlin and active in several Boards of Directors, amongst others as Chairman for the software company Antura and Member of the Board at Helge Nyberg, a company specializing in trolleys and trucks, and at Qleeno, a company for industrial cleaning machines.
“We are proud to welcome two such accomplished members of the board who, with their solid experience in developing fast-growing companies into great successful businesses, will help lead ARCCORE into a bright future,” said Mikael Johnsson, Board Member of ARCCORE and representative of Fouriertransform, ARCCORE’s largest single stakeholder.
