will be held from 4th to 9th November 2013 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
In 2013, the 29th BATIMAT, the world’s leading construction exhibition, will be held from 4th to 9th November in the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition. The new venue will make the show even more attractive internationally and will allow a more accessible arrangement of the exhibits.
Work on the planned Tour Triangle will entail the temporary closure of hall 1 in order to prepare the site for the tower, which will occupy part of hall 1. This is both the largest of Batimat’s halls and home to the Structure sector. In addition, space constraints at the Porte de Versailles centre make it difficult to satisfy a number of BATIMAT’s growth requirements. At the start of the year, this, together with the reduction in the available area, led the organizers to consider the question of which exhibition centre could best serve the development of the show.
The exhibitors, who have been involved in this review, have responded favourably to the possibility of a change of venue.
Paris Nord Villepinte is an international exhibition centre with acknowledged strengths
Over recent years a considerable amount has been invested in modernizing the site and improving access to Paris Nord Villepinte, which today hosts the largest international trade shows organized in France.
These developments will allow BATIMAT to move in its entirety, whilst ensuring an excellent visitor experience. Visitors will be able to see more stands and more innovative products as a result of the excellent connections between all the halls and it will also be possible to add new sectors whilst improving the reception and services for foreign visitors.
The proximity of major transport links (Roissy CDG airport and TGV station, RER station at the centre, motorway connections), numerous hotels and extensive car parks provide the necessary prerequisites for the successful staging of a show of the size and stature of BATIMAT.
BATIMAT 2013, the global event for construction innovation
The primary goals of BATIMAT 2013, which will be launched next April, are for the show to focus more strongly on innovation and construction techniques, to offer a more in depth and broader coverage of the town, the urban space and architecture, and to draw in even more international visitors.
