A meeting on ‘Management of Non-Allergic Rhinitis’ will be held in Dubai, UAE, organized by the distributor German Medical Store, GMS and Chordate Medical.
June 30, 2016—German Medical Store L.L.C. and Chordate Medical AB, a Swedish company announce the launch of the Kinetic Oscillation Stimulation, KOS treatment for Non-Allergic Rhinitis, NAR in the Middle East. To support the market entry in UAE, a CME accredited meeting for ENT specialists is being organized. The event is taking place on the 12th of July at InterContinental Dubai Festival City.
The KOS method is a novel treatment with neuromodulation for Non-Allergic Rhinitis, NAR. The treatment stimulates the nasal mucosa and the autonomic nervous system. The KOS method is non-invasive without the need of anesthesia.
A large part of the population suffers from rhinitis, nasal congestion, which makes breathing difficult. It is a common disease, the prevalence of chronic Non-Allergic Rhinitis is approximately 10-15% of the population. Rhinitis impairs breathing and disrupt sleep and results in significant costs for medical treatment.
