David Armstrong appointed Managing Director at Congrex Travel AG

Travel and tourism specialist David Armstrong has been appointed new Managing Director
at Congrex Travel AG with immediate effect. He succeeds Claudia Scherrer who will dedicate herself to the position of Operations Director.

David Armstrong has last been Managing Director of PDM Travel AG, a group of companies based in Switzerland and Austria mainly engaged in Europe-wide destination management and procure­ment for American tour operators.
Previously, he has held various executive positions in the FTI Group in Germany, including as Managing Director of the subsidiaries and LAL Sprachreisen, and a leading position establishing the platform

During these years, David has acquired extensive know-how in procurement, sales and marketing of flight and accommodation services, in the organisation of group tours as well as customer care/customer relationship management and e-commerce.
