DreamHack and Content Lab to hold Nordic Esport Summit In Malmö, Sweden, October 4

DreamHack, the premier gaming lifestyle festival, and Content Lab are proud to present the first-ever Nordic Esport Summit in Malmö, Sweden, on October 4, 2019. Nordic Esport Summit will take place in Malmömässan and Malmö Arena.

Nordic Esport Summit is the new go-to event for professionals in the Nordic countries interested in the business side of esports. The 1-day event is held in connection to DreamHack’s top-tier arena event, CORSAIR DreamHack Masters Malmö, and will serve as a great opportunity of gaining a better understanding of the ever-growing esports market, finding investment opportunities and meet with some of the world’s most influential leaders within the esports industry.

The summit has room for 200 delegates who will all be able to listen to interesting speakers and panel discussions whilst enjoying the best hospitality and also experiencing the opening of CORSAIR DreamHack Masters Malmö.

PWC, Tobii and Massive among the speaker

Over 15 speakers will share their experiences and insights from the esports industry during the day, among these, you’ll find Akamai, PwC, Tobii, Morris Law and Massive. The topics covered will include innovation, regulation, professional development and the future of esports as a mainstream media, to give a few examples. The first speakers and topics are presented on the Nordic Esport Summit site alongside the full schedule of the event.

DreamHack Masters launched in 2016, as DreamHack’s first large-scale esports arena event, the first event took place in Malmö, Sweden in April 2016. The event serves as the ultimate experience for esports fans from around the world wanting to watch their favorite professional teams and players play on the biggest of stages.

DreamHack Masters is a touring esports championship that will visit different cities and venues with different game titles, depending on market and timing. Thus far all editions of DreamHack Masters have featured Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as the main title, prize pools of 250,000 USD or more, and 16 teams competing live for the prize.
