DRY Costume - Fashion brand release

Pressmeddelande   •   Apr 06, 2016 14:38 CEST

The new Swedish fashion brand DRY COSTUME was launched in December 2015. DRY COSTUME characterizes by classic styles with masculine clean cuts produced in absolute premium qualities.

The idea is to create garments that are sustainable, timeless both in quality and style.

"Our ambition with DRY COSTUME is that customers can buy fewer clothes, in high-quality and accessible for longer than one season, something that contributes to a more sustainable approach to consuming fashion", says Jenny Kästel Tavassoli, designer.

The first parts of the collection was released in December and are non-seasonal. Seven iconic pieces, including two styles of t-shirts, raglan college sweatshirt, wrap trousers, a shirt, a robe and an unlined jacket actually works unisex as essential basics. The garments are given iconic namnes like Patti, Cyd, Ernest, Walden and Zaha and they are all available in sizes S, M, L.

The clothes are created in Stockholm, Sweden and manufactured in northern Italy in premium fabrics. For example the fabric in delicate robe Cyd, is designed in Prato, one of the country’s historic textile districts. At least since the 2nd half of the 19th century, the area was known for its wool recycling industry and world renowned craftsmanship. The jersey is made of the exclusive MAKO cotton which is slow growing and produced in a sustainable way. DRY COSTUME believe in quality over quantity. DRY COSTUME believe the future is consuming less, but better!
