Stockholm brand man Stubbs to be keynote speaker at Dutch advertising congress MARCOM 13

Julian Stubbs, the man behind the branding of Stockholm as The Capital of Scandinavia has been asked to be a keynote speaker at the major Dutch advertising conference MARCOM13. The event, attended by thousands of people, takes place over two days, June 12th and 13th in the Dutch capital Amsterdam.

Stubbs has also recently been invited to work with the city of Oslo in developing a new brand strategy. This work has attracted a high degree of media attention in Norway and been covered by both local and national press and radio. 

Julian Stubbs is an international brand strategist and speaker and apart from his work for Stockholm and other destinations, he has worked with brand and identity projects for clients such as Technicolor, the Hollywood movie company, and the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, which is held annually every December in Oslo. His first book, published in 2011, on place branding called Wish You Were Here examines the issues in building a strong place brand and focuses on his work in developing the Stockholm brand. 

Stubbs, who is English, lives in Stockholm, is also one of the founders of UP THERE, EVERYWHERE, the global cloud based brand and communications consulting group with 130 people.
