The Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF) met for its annual Conference and business meeting in Riga, Republic of Latvia.
Chairman of GREF, Mr Håkan Hallstedt said that this year’s conference has been a great success, discussing matters of mutual concern across all jurisdictions, such as cross-border crime, social gaming and various aspects of responsible gambling – issues that sit at the heart of regulation, whatever our national position might be.
GREF is an association of European Regulators from across the continent of Europe. The Forum has two main objectives:
to provide a forum in which European gaming regulators can meet, exchange views and information and discuss policy on gaming matters; and on special occasions and with the agreement of participants represent the different views of European gaming regulators and also provide a central point of contact for enquiries directed at them from authorities or related organisations in Europe and elsewhere. http://www.gref.net
