In December 2010 Markify,, launched the world's first free search engine for similar trademarks and domain names. Now they have gotten their first investment of USD 340 000 from the European venture capital firm CNCP.

“After almost two years of development we decided to bring in external investors. Magnus Wiberg at CNCP was one of the first investors I met, and I immediately saw the value he could bring to our company”, says Benoit Fallenius, founder and CEO of Markify.

The investor Magnus Wiberg is the co-founder of Pricerunner (sold to ValueClick), an active angel in several startups in the Nordic region and a founding partner in CNCP.

“We invested in Markify because of the team, the technology and their ambition level. It is a very niched service but also truly global. And I believe that mastering trademarks and domain names will be important in an increasingly crowded name space”, says Magnus Wiberg from CNCP.

Markify ( is a trademark and domain name search company, focused on similarity technologies. The search engine helps entrepreneurs and brand name creators avoid trademark conflicts and protect their brands in Europe and in the US. Founded in 2009, based in Stockholm, Sweden.
