As of January 2nd, 2017, the students and recent graduates at the University of Copenhagen can find jobs and internships on the new portal UCPH Projects & Jobs, which is operated by Graduateland.
The portal creates an important new bridge between university students and employers in the Øresund Region. Students at all faculties at the University of Copenhagen can sign up to the portal for free and start their job search according to their specific majors. Organisations looking to recruit talent in Denmark now have a new channel to reach this target group.
A career portal for the next generation of job applicants
“Our aim has always been to facilitate great matches between students who are just starting out in their career and organisations in search for ambitious young employees”, says Patrick Lund, CEO & Co-Founder of Graduateland. “In that sense, it’s a crucial step for us to partner up with one of Denmark’s most prestigious universities.”
With UCPH Projects & Jobs, the goal is to provide the new generation of job applicants and recruiters with a job portal that lives up to their digital standards. Students and companies are matched based on parameters such as location preference, language skills or educational background, and they can communicate via the platform. The portal is available in Danish and English.
This focus on university recruitment is ingrained in Graduateland’s founding history: in 2012 the startup launched its first career portal in partnership with Copenhagen Business School.
By now, the Graduateland Network counts over half a million users and approximately 170.000 vacant jobs online, making it the largest Europe-wide career network for students and graduates. Next to University of Copenhagen, Graduateland has 21 other university partners spread across Scandinavia, the UK & Ireland, the Baltics as well as the Benelux.
