As previously announced the Halda Space Discovery limited edition received the Red Dot Design Award this year. With more than 14.000 entries from over 70 countries, the award is one of the most prestigious design awards one can ever get – often referred to as the “Nobel Prize of Design”.
On July 2nd representatives from Halda Watch Co collected the award at the Aalto-Theater in Essen, Germany.

About Halda Watch Company
Halda Watch Company was founded in 1887 by Swedish watch-maker Henning Hammarlund. It quickly became a worldwide success known for its advanced fine mechanics and quality.
Halda watches featured on prominent people such as HMK Oscar II and renowned Swedish writer August Strindberg and the watches were also honoured with several international awards in competition with the very best watch producers at that time. In 2012, the Halda Space Discovery received the Red Dot Design Award one of the most prestigious design awards one can ever get, often referred to as the ‘Nobel Prize of Design’.
