** Your Votes Turned into HiLights for Zulufadder orphanage in South Africa!
Thanks to you, about 12 HiLights will be donated to Zulufadder, the orphanage in South Africa we presented in last issue. The picture above is from Zulufadder, showing the children trying out HiLights. Zulufadder is a Norwegian run organisation supporting 700 children orphanaged through HIV/AIDS and 350 families in South Africa. This donation is made possible through the generous support by Telge Energi, a Swedish energy supplier.
We are looking forward to providing more photos and updates once the HiLights have been delivered and are in use.
** New Colleagues & New Office
Ernest Ang will join HiNation during all of 2013 and support us mainly in the sales activities and to strengthen our social media activities. Ernest is replacing Max WenXiang Pang, so if you earlier were in contact with Max, you will most likely be in touch with Ernest going forward. You can reach him on email@example.com or mobile phone +46(0)704-270 275.
Also, our export team will enjoy having Irene Kimathi joining us for most of the year. She is focusing on export and import questions, and with her experiences from Kenya - and fluency in Swahili - she will be a great addition to our team. You can reach her on firstname.lastname@example.org and +46(0)737-765 180.
Going hand in hand with expanding the team, we have also moved to a new office in central Stockholm, which will be a great platform for our continued work. Now you will find us on Kungsgatan 84, only a short 5 minutes walk from the Central station!
** Exiting Projects & Cooperations in the Pipeline...
...but we will have to keep it a secret for some time! Some old contacts, some new - some old geographies, some new continents. Hopefully, we will be able to reveal more in a month from now!

Rugged products for portable energy
HiNation® was founded in 2008 by Linda Krondahl, M.Sc. Chemical Engineering and Technology Management. HiNation cooperates with external expertise, organisations and universities for product development, manufacturing and sales. Our mission is to provide the best solar powered products to people around the globe, focusing on two markets - Outdoor users www.hination.com and Off-grid users www.hination.org.
Today 1,7 billion people, about 25% of the world's population, lack access to electricity. Instead, they get light from open fires, kerosene lamps or battery flash lights. The result is unhealthy emissions, affecting the health of people locally and the environment globally, but also the risk related to fires in areas where water often is a scarce resource. With HiNation's portable solar panel HiLight they can produce their own energy for durable lighting and charging cell phones and other portable device.
