How will gender equality and economic development evolve within the Baltic Sea region?


 This seminar discusses the importance of encompassing the collection of gender segregated statistics, comparative interregional analysis, research, advanced training and an exchange of good practices. The Partnership Platform should secure co-operation among various actor’s supporting gender equality as a driving force for economic development. Women Resource Centers will be an important actor (as doers) in the process of Regional Development and Growth in the Baltic Sea Region. The purpose of the Digital Agenda for Sweden is to collate all ongoing activities in a horizontal, cohesive strategy in order to make use of all the opportunities offered by digiitalisation to individuals and businesses. The purpose for the Digital Agenda for Winnet Sweden is to increase the potential for both women and men to take part in the digititalisation effects on regional, national and global level ICT can make democracy more accessible, even from someone’s kitchen table.
