Five Considerations

Good names, good interfaces, good architecture, good process, good tests, good practices... good grief! So much to know, so much keep in mind, so much to do. Software development is a discipline and a domain long on recommendations and short on time. How can those involved balance all the conflicting concerns? This talk takes a step back from the busy and overpopulated world of recommendations -- recommendations that come by the dozen, in fifties or as 97 -- to look at five considerations that can help you make sense of both the detail and the bigger picture.
