Laurella & Wallin + Uncommon Guide Books = Uncommon: Stockholm

Pressmeddelande   •   Jul 24, 2013 10:53 CEST

Uncommon Guide Books is a small Maltese company with a big international idea. Local contributors write about their life, their feelings and their interests: in their city. The list of contributors is long, which gives Uncommon the spread and girth needed to give city life an in-depth examination. Not a collection of maps, must-sees and does & don´ts, but a show and tell of personality, recent history and life.

In collaboration with swedish counterparts Laurella & Wallin, Uncommon Guide Books will unveil their latest project, Uncommon: Stockholm, in september.

Uncommon: Stockholm is an intimate guide to life in Sweden’s capital city. Thirty-something writers have contributed with essays, photography, artwork, anecdotes and tips in a wide range of subjects. We explore brutalism, fashion and the history of smorgasbord, we go backstage at Södra Teatern, we share a love story between two dogs in Birkastan, and most of all,we explore true life in the city, beyond the maps and mass produced itineraries.
