A revised identity was on show last night at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event.The new look, and all marketing material for the event, was created by UP THERE, EVERYWHERE Stockholm, the global cloud based agency group.
The current identity for the concert was created by UP three years ago, including the website and social media outreach through Facebook, You Tube and Twitter. Leading the team was Julian Stubbs from UP who said ‘We have had a great reaction to the new look and we’ve worked hard to maintain the heritage of Nobel, whilst creating an identity that’s appropriate for a contemporary music concert and celebration. Nobel is one of the world’s best known brands and it’s wonderful to get the opportunity to work with it.’ Stubbs goes on to say 'The adjustment to include a reference to the 20th anniversary worked wonderfully well. It looked great on all the new material.'
About the Concert
The Nobel Peace Prize Concert is a contemporary musical tribute to the year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate and is held annually on the evening after the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony.
The names of this year’s Concert artists included iconic British singer Morrissey, chart-topping newcomer Jake Bugg and Swedish rapper-reggae artist Timbuktu.
The Nobel Peace Prize 2013 was awarded to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for its extensive efforts to eliminate chemical weapons. The concert happens the day after the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize itself.
