Oppositional students from Iran meet in Gothenburg

Students from the Iranian green movement outside of Iran meet at an educational seminar in Gothenburg, Sweden, the 12-15th of July. Approximately 60 persons are expected to participate.

The aim of the educational seminar is to enable the oppositional students to deepen their knowledge about human rights, democracy, organization and networking. The education is carried out with the support of the Olof Palme International Center, and is made available on request from the oppositional students.  

The educational seminar is part of the Olof Palme International Center’s work to support opposition movements’ work for democracy and human rights in authoritarian states. The seminar is due to security reasons closed to the media and for others than specially invited guests.
