Benchmark: How to best control indirect spend using a procurement system?
Posten Norge wants to welcome you to a roundtable discussion regarding how to best control indirect spend using a procurement system. Most of you have a procurement system – or planning to implement one – but how well is spend managed in the systems and how have you managed to fill the system with content and engaged buyers to use it?
– How much of the total spend are you considering or are controlling via systems?
– What are your procurement system implementation experiences?
– How are you working with policies, no po no pay and other ways to increase compliance?

Norway Post in brief
Posten Norge is a Nordic mail and logistics group that develops and delivers complete solutions within postal services, communications and logistics, with the Nordic area as its local market.
The Group has over 20 000 talented and quality-conscious employees who live to deliver and find new paths.
In 2013 Posten Norge delivered 37,8 million parcels and 2 074 million letters.
The delivery quality for A mail (the proportion delivered overnight) was 86 % in 2013. The licence requirement is 85 %.
In 2013 81,2 % of all letters were sorted by machine.
14,3 % of Group income in 2013 came from monopoly services. There is a monopoly on mailing of letters under 50 grams).
Norway Post has delivered a good half-year performance. Turnover grew by three percent, despite a continued decline in letter volumes. The growth is in parcels as a result of increased online shopping.
Operating revenues in the first half of 2015 were MNOK 12 407, which is an increase of MNOK 364 (3 percent) on the corresponding period of 2014. Operating profit before non-recurring items (EBIT) in the first half of the year amounted to MNOK 314, which is MNOK 2 higher than at the same time last year.
Developments in the mail segment were affected by the continued fall in letter volumes. Mail sent by the public sector accounted for the greatest decline in addressed mail (- 9 percent) as a result of the transition to digital solutions. The Logistics segment is influenced by the reduced activity in the oil industry, but managed to achieve a growth in operating revenues of 5.5 percent, where underlying organic growth was 4.4 percent.
As one of few networks, EBG aims at creating opportunities to learn from your peers across functions and across industry borders. We talk about the networked economy and what impact current and future private and public sector development bring to the table for any CFO, CPO, CIO, SSC manager or any other person with the mandate to bring change to their organisation.
We host a couple of blogs:
And run a couple of yearly networking days:
We do interviews, write articles, make surveys, run webinars and much more - because we believe that all business and organisational development comes from changing peoples behaviour, looking at business processes in a more holistic way and sharing experiences across industry borders.
