Preserv8 signs significant European Cloud Service distributor

Global software plus services company expects to break new ground in Western Europe markets

Preserv8 Ltd., the supplier and developer of Preserv8TM Unified Messaging Platform and Software plus Services service, has confirmed its partnership with Cloudmore AB, formerly Smarthost, a pan-European tier one distributor of Cloud Services, aimed at the Software plus Services market, to distribute Preserv8TM.

Cloudmore AB is an established cloud service distributor providing a portfolio of services delivered over the Internet to a large number of Value-added resellers, System Integrators and Telecom Operators who market, sell and support the services under their own name and brand.

Cloudmore can offer Preserv8 a unique quick route to market as a first tier distribution partner to Preserv8 Ltd., and Cloudmore will transfer the value of the solution and support to its network and thereby provide reseller and channel partners to do likewise for their clients.

Deon Robertson, CEO at Preserv8 Ltd., believes the association is an important step forward for Preserv8 Ltd. in the implementation of its strategy to extend its global footprint, and an offering of significant value to Cloudmore in their service delivery to the market.

"The offering has international appeal. We have monitored the steady increase in interest and investment in South Africa, where we first launched the solution and service offering. The structure and design of the solution and our back-end systems, together with the partner portal, ensures that our client base can be supported from anywhere in the world, and that our channel partners have access to proactive technical and client service management infrastructure," says Robertson.

From a technical point of view Wicander says that Preserv8TM is a market-leading cloud based unified mail communication platform, the first and only solution in the market to achieve the Microsoft ISV S+S certification.

"Our partner channel is experiencing a rapidly growing customer demand for email security, availability, business intelligence and compliance solutions. Preserv8 enables our partners to go to market offering an integrated, market leading service, satisfying these demands and hereby creating a healthy revenue stream and strengthened customer loyalty," Wicander continues.

Both Wicander and Robertson anticipate a strong response and high uptake from the European market.

"The cloud service market in Europe and the US is rapidly maturing and we have seen exceptional growth over the last year within our channel, boosting over 15 % month on month. The market is still in the early phases and researchers, such as IDC, estimate that the revenue will triple over the coming three years. Northern Europe and the US are currently more advanced, but over the coming years we will see a great adoption for cloud services globally," says Wicander.

Robertson agrees and says that Preserv8 Ltd. has tailored its offering and positioned the company strategically to meet the needs of a growing channel of operators keen to capitalise on managed ICT services.
