Innovative Server and Desktop Solutions Will be on Display
Stockholm, Oct. 11, 2010 – Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) is taking its virtualization strategy and products on the road to VMworld Europe, Oct. 12 – 14 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Leading Quest experts will present on server and desktop virtualization trends at the event, which is expected to draw more than 4,000 attendees from throughout Europe. Quest executives also will detail initiatives in support of the company’s virtualization strategy, while innovative virtual server, virtual desktop, and private cloud automation solutions will be on display in booths 21 and 22.
The addition of the Quest® Cloud Automation Platform to an extensive line of virtualization management solutions uniquely positions Quest to deliver comprehensive management across virtual, physical, and cloud infrastructures. Carl Eberling, Quest vice president and general manger, Virtualization Management, will deliver Quest’s vision while at the show.
“Quest is leveraging its core strengths to provide best-in-class management technologies spanning physical, virtual, and cloud environments, and to deliver platform-independent solutions across heterogeneous environments,” said Eberling. “Quest continues setting the standard for ease of use, understanding customer needs to create solutions that provide maximum value, and developing an enhanced partner ecosystem around the globe.”
Two other Quest experts will provide insights into crucial issues and trends impacting the virtualization industry. “Shortening the Distance Between Applications, End Users and IT across Physical, Virtual and Cloud Infrastructures,” will be delivered by Scott Herold, Quest director, virtualization strategy. “VDWhy?” or “Virtual Desktop, Why?” features Michel Roth, principal product architect, Quest Desktop Virtualization Group, examining the many benefits attainable through desktop virtualization.
