At the Geneva motorshow on 6th March 2012 the world first plug-in hybrid car with diesel power was unveiled – the Volvo V60 plug-in Hybrid. One of the new communication methods required by Volvo cars for the launch was a product presentation app – this was created by Gothenburg agency SCP in co-operation with Family Business (Stockholm) and digital agency LBi, also from Gothenburg.
”It’s been a really exciting project for us, and as a project group who primarily produced printed car brochures, it’s been a great exercise – taking a major step into the digital world” said Johan Svantesson, Creative Director at SCP.
”It gives us a completely new toolkit. As well as taking car and lifestyle photos, we now work with interactive elements, film and animation to create a tremendously engaging experience.”
