Sony Ericsson Selects DIDMO as one off 11 Developer Partners to Participate in Creation Day at Mobile World Congress

DIDMO powers Mobile App for Creation Day attendees

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — February 16, 2010 — DIDMO, a leading mobile business solutions provider, was hand-picked by Sony Ericsson as a Developer Partner to participate in its highly anticipated Creation Day on February 17th at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. In addition, DIDMO used its award-winning Magmito software to develop a Creation Day mobile application that will be delivered to attendees using the latest QR Code technology.

Led by the Developer & Partner Engagement & Management team from Sony Ericsson, DIDMO will participate alongside application developers, content creators, artists and local creative people to demonstrate the power of Co-Creation and how mobile content can be created and shared in the future. DIDMO will showcase how its award-winning mobile content creation tool, Magmito, will become an integral part of Sony Ericsson’s co-creation strategy.

Creation Day attendees will be able to scan a QR code with their mobile phones’ built-in cameras to download an app featuring the day’s itinerary, information, exhibit map and a quiz. Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader software can scan the image of the QR Code causing the phone's browser to launch and redirect to the programmed URL.

“We’re honored that the team of visionaries at Sony Ericsson decided DIDMO was a must-have participant in this event but more importantly, a long-term partner in their soon-to-be unveiled vision for mobile content creation and sharing,” said Ted Iannuzzi, VP Marketing & Sales, DIDMO. “Our goal with Magmito was to create a mobile content creation tool that anybody could use and could reach virtually every phone on the market today. Sony Ericsson’s vision for co-creation will lead our product and the entire user-generated mobile content industry into the future.”

DIDMO first met the Sony Ericsson team when it was invited as an industry leader to participate in the Sweden stop of its CreateNow tour in September 2009. From there, DIDMO sponsored a mobile app for the Singapore leg of the tour that was downloaded by 100% of attendees.

DIDMO’s Magmito is the mobile industry’s first user-generated mobile content creation tool that allows anyone to create, publish and share content for virtually any mobile device. With Magmito’s easy-to-use templates, customized presentations can easily be created and viewed as an application or within a mobile browser distributed to virtually any mobile phone. The revolutionary service also includes the ability to implement polls, quizzes and forms, allowing consumer brands the ability to solicit feedback from customers.
