Swedish success product tic® – the threadless design solution changing the way men and women fasten shirt buttons – is one of the select items showing at INDX Menswear 2013.
The tic® stand at INDX marks the groundbreaking Swedish product’s official introduction to the United Kingdom; and is run by the newly appointed sole distributor for tic® in the UK, Quick Response Products Ltd.
“We are delighted to be working with such an innovative company and proactive team in Sweden. Tic represents a huge opportunity for any retailer, especially those selling shirts or blouses. Every shirt manufacturer accepts that buttons can fall off, which is why they provide spares. Tic now adds the solution for permanent repairs, instantly!” says Jeremy Whitticase, Managing Director of Quick Response Products Ltd, the sole distributor for tic® in the UK and Ireland.
Since June 2012 tic® has been retailed in Scandinavia through mid-high end menswear, clothing and design outlets. Stockholm’s exclusive department store Nordiska Kompaniet (Sweden’s equivalent to Harrods) is also a major retail outlet for tic® in Sweden.
tic® has been designed, developed and produced to be a simple, elegant and usable solution for fastening shirt buttons; especially compared to traditional needle and thread methods. The product is produced in Sweden and sold globally by the Tic Sweden company (Tic Sverige AB). tic® solves a simple but very common problem.
“Every now and then a high quality product comes along that does exactly what it says on the packet, Tic is that product! Anyone who wears shirts or blouses, or has school children, needs to have on hand a pack of Tic.” says Caron Smith, National Account Manager at Quick Response Products Ltd in Dorset.
“It’s exciting to have our product launch in the UK at INDX 2013. Both consumer and trade interest received so far from Great Britain has been excellent, and now we have a professional and reliable UK distribution partner it wont be long until the product is moving from the shelves of quality forward thinking retailers, and into the hands of UK shirt wearers.” says designer of tic® and founder of the Tic Sweden company, Karolina Räntfors.
The Tic Sweden company invite all interested media persons to visit the tic® stand at INDX Menswear at Cranmore Park during July 31 and August 01, 2013. Opening Hours 08:30 - 17:30.
