Over 27 million tourists visited Malaysia in 2014 and number of tourists is growing every year. Martin Ahlberg; CEO of FIN-S sees as the most important challenges to ensure the visitors growth and aims to considerable growth of the market share in the region. “Irma Aalto with wide-ranging experience from the travel industry is the acting project manager and the entire organisation of FIN-S will be strongly involved in the process” he adds.

Popular destinations, with organized tours from our area are the capital Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Borneo and Kota Kinabalu. Malaysia is first and foremost known as nature and adventure destination, as the Asia’s best golf destination and the legendary diving destination Sipadan Island on the east cost of Borneo is listed among the best diving destinations in the world. The product range is accordingly wide – from nature based ecotourism and untouched sandy beaches to buzzling Kuala Lumpur, golf and Formula 1. Geographically Malaysia is diverse; it consists of two separate areas: the Malaysian Peninsula in the west and Sarawak and Sabah on the island of Borneo in the east. A large part of Malaysia is covered by rain forests and the national parks are popular tourist attractions.

Time to be inspired!
