111VOX gratulerar Hope till vinsten av Guldknappen 2010

Hope är ett märke som vi har sålt på 111VOX.com nu i tre säsonger så vi blev, minst sagt, lite extra glada när vi fick höra att de vunnit den prestigefyllda designutmärkelsen ’Guldknappen 2010’.

Hope is a Swedish label and the first woman collection was launched in autumn 2001 and in autumn 2005 a collection for men was added. Hope’s signature style is low key, clean, raw and authentic with ingenious and high quality details. The design stems from a masculine platform and inspiration derives from classic men’s wear and vintage uniforms. Innovated traditional fabrics with subtle structures and patterns are sourced to attain a unique and exclusive feeling.

Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg, designers at HOPE, are the winners of Guldknappen
2010, the most desirable Swedish design award within the fashion industry. Guldknappen is
founded and presented by the Swedish fashion magazine Damernas Värld.

Hope brings home the award with its 2010 Autumn/Winter collection. The jury has motivated its choice by the following statement “The style is muted and calm, bare and clean, timeless and durably powerful. Through its raw simplicity it creates a poetic expression which today is synonymous with Scandinavian functionalism.” Ann Ringstrand, designer and one of the founders of Hope, says after receiving the award: ”Guldknappen brings a mark of quality and it’s a fantastic feeling to finally win this award after several years of nominations.” Stefan Söderberg, also designer and founder of Hope, continues: ”Winning Guldknappen is an important acknowledgement of the fact that you have made a great impression on the Swedish fashion world”.
