STOCKHOLM, 10 January 2012. 24MAS, a global leader in mobile advertising and applications, has acquired Liquid Air Lab GmbH, the German company behind the hugely popular mobile radio app network Spodtronic.com, with over 20 million radio app installations worldwide.
Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, Liquid Air Lab has become the world leader in radio application development & publishing, having created over 1,300 mobile applications for leading radio brands across smartphone platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Phone, Nokia and BlackBerry devices. Leading radio station customers include NRJ, The Voice, Absolute Radio, RTL Radio, Mix Megapol, NRK, FFH, Radio Hamburg and Antenne Bayern.
With an existing install base of 20 million users and growing at over 1.2 million new installations a month, the network now serves hundreds of millions of advertising impressions each month across Adplace.com, Liquid Air Lab’s proprietary targeted advertising network. The rich mobile advertising formats shown in the apps offer advertisers an interactive and innovative platform to sell and market products, with customers including Audi, Volkswagen, Intel, and more.
