24Money becomes SWIFT member
The Fintech company 24Money Payments has become authorised users of SWIFT, Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. SWIFT is a coorporative within the banking sector that provides a telecommunication network for financial transactions between banks.
The partnership is seen as a natural extention of 24Money’s business and takes the company to a superior level of performance, always with the aim to provide the best services and experience to the customers.
Being granted a membership in SWIFT means that 24Money will be able to enjoy all the member benefits, such as access to an IBAN (International Bank Account Number), which is an international standard to identify an account number. The access to IBAN means that 24Money will be able to offer faster and more secure payments to their customers internationally. By becoming SWIFT members, 24Money will also be a part of a platform with over 11,000 other members in over 200 countries and territories. Within the network, a member is able to exchange information with other financial institutions and corporations.
