3gamma appoints Rickard Holmkvist as Chief Operating Officer and strengthens group management to drive further growth and business development

Gothenburg, Sweden – March 23, 2015. 3gamma AB, a leading IT management consulting and advisory firm in the Nordics and the UK, appoints Rickard Holmkvist as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Jens Ekberg as Head of Group Insights and Maria Nelsson as Head of Group Sales Development to drive value creation for 3gamma’s clients and accommodate further growth and business development. The decision to strengthen the group management team follows the acquisition of Acando’s UK consulting business in February.

Rickard Holmkvist will assume responsibility for 3gamma’s strategic planning process, business planning, operational structure and group functions. He will oversee the group’s expansion in all regions and support continued growth.

Mr. Holmkvist is currently the Managing Director for 3gamma Sweden. He has been with 3gamma since 2012 and has successfully delivered significant growth in Sweden. Prior to joining 3gamma, Mr. Holmkvist has built an extensive consulting and advisory experience in global consulting firms.

Mr. Ekberg will assume responsibility for 3gamma Insights, marketing and capability development, whereas Ms. Nelsson will lead group-common sales development.
