Acer @BETT 2013: interactive experiences, seminars, live contest and more...
Acer will be present at BETT Show in London, January 30-February 2, 2013 on stand E100 to reconfirm its strong commitment to the education sector.
Creating technology for the classroom, Acer helps students and teachers explore beyond limits providing access to new paths of communication and interaction. This new approach to education will make today's students, grown up in an era in which young people live and breathe technology, feel closer to their everyday life.
Acer will showcase a fully functioning digital classroom, which includes tablets, notebooks, ultrabooks, desktops, monitors, projectors and the Acer Classroom Manager software. Acer’s digital classroom is engineered specifically for students’ exploration beyond the classroom boundaries, and for providing teachers with the ability to instruct, monitor and interact with their students. A live experience of the digital classroom will be offered during the day to all visitors interesting in explore more.
In order to offer high quality support in terms of services and solutions, Acer is creating an eco-system with the main players in the market. For this reason, Acer will be also present as privileged partner at Net Support (stand n. C212), Fourier (stand n. B54) and Promethean (stand n. B80) with its Education solutions, in addition to Microsoft and Intel stands.
What’s more, Acer will attend a number of workshops on education prevailing topics such as interactive learning, innovative teaching solutions, and special projects and initiatives in partnership with big players of the Education market. Within the speeches:

Throughout the show, Acer will host at its own booth a wide range of seminars by key educational speakers who will be running 20 minute sessions on “the positive role for social media in schools” and “e-safety – teachers online, the positives and the pitfalls”.

Last but not
least, at BETT Show visitors can challenge Jonny Marray - the first British
player to win the Wimbledon men’s doubles title since 1936 - to a game of
virtual tennis. Visitors will be able to enter in a prize draw to win a
coaching day with Jonny Marray for their school. There will be the opportunity
to win each day 2x Iconia B1, the new Acer 7" tablet.
Jonny Marray will be at the Acer booth E100 on Wednesday, January 30 from 11am
onwards.
