Avalon Solutions: Women in Cloud Stockholm 2018

Avalon Solutions, which actively drives diversity initiatives internally, decided to publicly engage in the agenda. The event is sponsored by Workplace by Facebook and Google Cloud, Avalon Solutions’ partners.

Our initiative started in Poland, and was focused on women-managers working in the area of digital transformation. Now, moving the concept to Sweden, we’d like to build a community around the diversity agenda in the tech industry, explains Ola Persson, CEO Avalon Solutions. Together with our partners, Google Cloud and Workplace by Facebook, we organized the first event, to trigger the discussion with women and men, from students and interns to C-level managers.

The main keynote speaker at the event will be Didde Christensen (Vice President Technology, Nordic Choice Hotels). Sara Seldahl (Head of Nordics Marketing Google Cloud), Regina Croda (Strategic Partner Manager, Workplace by Facebook) and Alia Lamaadar (Growth Manager, Workplace by Facebook) will present, as well as participate in the panel discussion and answer questions from the audience.

The topic of the discussion will be digital transformation and its potential, as the driver of a bigger change happening in the workplace.
