Welcoming this year's trainees!

Axel Johnson International offers yet another group of new graduates a unique start to their careers. During the coming year, five new trainees will be offered the opportunity to combine professional challenges in our companies with strategic projects and tailored training. Each trainee will be assigned a mentor and encouraged to learn, experience, thoroughly get to know our operations and build their individual network for the future.

"Just as previously, this year’s trainee group consists of a number of eager, young graduates - each with excellent academic track records and different sets of skills and experiences. They are all individuals with strong entrepreneurial spirits and high levels of ambition. Our trainees bring with them new perspectives and contribute to our businesses by providing thorough analyses and alternative viewpoints. They also help extend knowledge and insights throughout our organisation", says Åsa Holmgren, Head of Communications, Sustainability and HR in Axel Johnson International.

Axel Johnson International’s trainee program offers a first step in a long term career within our group. For many, it also provides possibilities of challenging international assignments in one of our 90 companies worldwide. The first trainee program was started in 2011 and previous trainees can today be found in managerial positions within purchasing, logistics, marketing and sales throughout Axel Johnson International.

Next year’s trainee program will open for applications in December of 2016.
