Axel Johnson International acquires Swedish distributor of pumps and fluid handling systems Esspump
With the addition of Esspump AB, Axel Johnson International’s business group AxFlow strengthens its sales organization in Sweden and gains important additions to its product portfolio.
AxFlow is one of Europe’s leading distributors of high quality fluid handling equipment and related services for process industries. AxFlow currently has 570 employees, annual sales of 175 MEUR and operations in 27 countries in Europe and in South Africa.
With the acquisition of Esspump, AxFlow strengthens its Swedish sales organization and adds products from a number of important manufacturers of fluid handling equipment to its product portfolio.
The joint application knowledge, experience and thorough business understanding of the combined organization will benefit customers throughout the chemical, mining, water and wastewater, pulp and paper as well as food and pharmaceutical industries.
Esspump AB is acquired from Pomonagruppen, a Swedish family-owned investment company.
