The fast growing ad tech company BannerFlow appoints mobile operator Three Sweden's former CEO, Nicholas Högberg as new CEO and associate. Högberg spent nine years at Three, the last four as CEO. Högberg officially joins the BannerFlow family on October 1, 2016.

BannerFlow is a fast-growing SaaS company, utilizing an innovative technology, greatly simplifying online advertising. With a sophisticated web-based software service, BannerFlow automates online advertising and eliminates expensive and time-consuming brokers.

“I know the company and its founders well, from working on BannerFlow’s board over the past three years. With great people, an inspiring corporate culture and an outstanding business model and product, I feel this is the beginning of a very special journey. I’m convinced that BannerFlow will be one of the world's leading ad tech companies within five years”, says BannerFlow CEO, Nicholas Högberg.

At Three Sweden Högberg turned losses of 2 billion SEK into profits of 2 billion SEK and built one of Sweden's most awarded and recognized corporate cultures. Högberg has received several leadership awards in Sweden, for example; Young Leader of the Year, Telecom Manager of the Year, and a top-three candidate for CEO of the Year. He has previously held executive positions at Vodafone Sweden, Campus Mobile, Spray, BIP and Kanal 5 (Channel 5).

“I have always worked in entrepreneurial and fast paced organizations, challenging status quo of each industry I’ve ever been a part of. I’m convinced BannerFlow has all the tools and the right conditions to change the game in the ad tech industry,” says Nicholas Högberg.

BannerFlow has been profitable since its start in 2010, and still is. Without any external capital investments, BannerFlow is expected to double its revenue this year, and maintain its rapid growth rate over the next couple of years. Today, advertisers from more than 100 countries utilize BannerFlow’s platform and in 2015 BannerFlow was named one of Europe's fastest growing tech companies by Deloitte Tech 500.

Daniel Fahlén, the company co-founder, will hand over the CEO position to Högberg, and instead manage BannerFlow’s product and business development section.
