5 way desktop charging dock

The desktop charging dock can handle up to five devices at the same time. It takes up minimum space, and if using many tablets, several charging docks can be neatly placed next to each other.

"At first, we received requests to a project where tablets are used in schools and prisons," says Key Account Manager Peter Hermansson. "They were dependent on always having tablets ready for use, and they had problems with the batteries running out, charging cables lying around all over the place and disappearing. Therefore, we developed this desktop charging dock that can charge up to five tablets at the same time. "

”An important point in this project was the “grab-and-go” aspect,” Hermansson continues. "It has to be easy to grab your tablet on the go. The dock charges the device via the connector on the long side. You simply place the device in the charging dock and the charging starts instantly”.

The desktop charging dock is provided with cellular rubber feet so it will not slide on a table surface. There are threaded screw holes in the bottom for attaching the charging dock onto a tabletop or in a charging cabinet. Charging is indicated by a red light in front of each charging slot, when the tablet is fully charged the diode switches to green. Charging performance is unaffected by the number of devices. An empty battery takes about 8 hours until fully charged.

Initially, the 5 way desktop charging dock will be launched for Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 8.0 SM-T365 equipped with an original skin. More models may be developed in the future, depending on request. The 5 way desktop charging dock will be released during April 2015.
