Leading companies within taxi technology integrates: Fågelviks company Cabonline acquires Taxisystem AB

Taxisystem’s cloud-based solution for dispatch, invoicing and routing together with Cabonline’s app for ordering and payment are set to create the taxi system of the future. The two technology companies will offer the market a comprehensive, scalable and internationally adaptable off-the-shelf solution for the modern taxi industry.

Cabonline AB has developed the market’s leading mobile app and corporate travel platform, which is currently used by Taxi Kurir, Taxi 020 and the 20 other companies that make up the Fågelvik Group – one of Europe’s leading taxi companies, with 6,000 affiliated vehicles. The app has already been downloaded over 700,000 times.

The acquisition presents a unique opportunity to integrate this customer-focused technology with the Swedish technology company Taxisystem AB’s software solution for quickly finding and dispatching available taxis, calculating the most efficient route, managing the taximeters and handling the back-office information required for settling accounts and invoicing.

Founded in 2005, Svenska Taxisystem AB has since developed the world’s first GPRS-based dispatch system for taxis, as well as a host of other leading technologies for the benefit of modern taxi companies.

The acquisition will be made with company funds for an undisclosed purchase price.
