Nelly.com: Launches STARS by Jonas Hallberg

STARS by Jonas Hallberg is this year’s hottest fashion collaboration between Nelly.com and one of Hollywood’s most popular stylists – Jonas Hallberg. Together they have created the Hollywood inspired party collection of this spring, which will launch on Nelly.com at the end of April.

Jonas Hallberg is the stylist know from the TV3 series “Superstylisten Jonas” and TV3’s Top Model Sweden, where he acts as a coach and mentor along with Izabella Scorupco.  When he is not appearing on TV, Jonas styles Hollywood superstars like Cameron Diaz, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Sharon Stone, Cindy Crawford and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The spring collection, consisting of four dresses, two pairs of shoes, belts & bags/clutch bags has been designed in collaboration with Jonas and his assistant. Jonas has applied his Hollywood glamour to the garments yet maintained a price that is suitable in the commercial span. The collection is flirty, bold and super elegant.

Some trivia: the dresses have been named after old movie stars from Hollywood, who’s style Jonas loves. The names are also tattooed on Jonas’s left forearm: Marilyn, Grace, Rita and Ava.

“I love the old Hollywood with all its glamour and the iconic movie stars like Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Rita Hayworth and Ava Gardner”, Jonas says.

“Many of the stars I am inspired by today as a stylist are incredibly curvaceous with plenty of wonderful female forms. Just look at J-Lo and Beyonce who I absolutely LOVE!!!”

Jonas is very engaged in HIV/AIDS prevention. He has the fight against this disease very much at heart and he is worried about the new generation, especially when it comes to “safe sex”.  Some of the proceeds of the collection will therefore go to research in the battle against HIV/AIDS.

The collaboration between Nelly.com and Jonas Hallberg has already evolved further.

“This fall there will be another collection. It will be wider than the spring collection and contain, amongst other things, Hollywood inspired dresses, shoes and tops”, Katrin Linhard, Head of Fashion at Nelly.com, reveals.

STARS by Jonas Hallberg will be found exclusively on Nelly.com starting end of April.
