Cevt kicks of InnoScout tour in Stockholm

At CEVT we truly believe in the power of creative minds and ideas. That is why we want to meet people that have innovative concepts, products or services that we can implement in our business. We want to find forms of cooperation where the smaller company or startup gets a platform for the development and access to our competences, backed by an organisation of 2000 people, and we in return get innovative ideas and fantastic creative people into our business. Win-Win

“The total industry is undergoing a huge and fast transformation, that is why we are intensifying our innovation capabilities. Innovation behind closed doors rarely leads to anything revolutionary, but one does not rule out the other. We are also investing hard in self-development, but we must act quickly since tomorrow's vehicles and mobility will not look like it does today. Therefore, we are trying to combine our large company's efficiency with entrepreneurial capabilities. Smaller companies help us keep the spark,” says Didier Schreiber Head of Innovation at CEVT.

To facilitate meetings between CEVT and creative people in startups, CEVT is launching the InnoScout initiative to find interaction and synergies through a series of events.

One of the participants in the first InnoScout was Katriina Valli from Zyfra.

“I like the way this event was run, smooth and quickly and it seemed as everyone had really good questions which means that they have understood what I am trying to say. The whole dynamic business is going through a disruption and next generations will have a whole new set of preferences. I think this is something that CEVT need to prepare for and I think we would be able to help in that sense, says Katriina.

Another participant was Jon Linden from Ekkono who explained their interest in CEVT;

We are working with the future - ai, connectivity, machine learning, and you are working with the vehicles of the future and this effort that CEVT is making is so large and so interesting.

Today CEVT:s InnoScout tour kicked off in Stockholm, will continue to Israel in May and be followed by two more opportunities during the autumn. Stay tuned.
