Circle K gör vegansk mat med Svenska Kocklandslaget
Circle K fortsätter att utöka sitt vegetariska utbud. Denna gång med inspiration från Mellanöstern i form av en vegansk falafeltallrik med tabbouleh, ajvar, kalamataoliver och napolimix.
Att äta vegetariskt är för många svenskar idag en självklarhet. Circle K följer upp sin veganska Oumph!-wrap med en falafeltallrik framtagen av Svenska Kocklandslaget. Med inspiration från Mellanöstern har de komponerat en färdigrätt med fräscha, härliga smaker. Persilja, paprika och kikärtor är huvudingredienserna i denna hälsobomb som är vegansk och därmed även laktosfri.
– Tallriken är superfräsch och som alltid när vi jobbar med kocklandslaget blir smakupplevelsen fantastisk. Den matiga falafeln tillsammans med syrlig sallad är ett perfekt nyttigt och snabbt alternativ för alla som vill ha bra mat på vägen, säger Anna-Karin Thörne, kategorichef på Circle K. Falafeltallriken kommer att kosta 69 kr och finns till försäljning från mitten av maj.
– Vi arbetar ständigt för att ligga i framkant när det kommer till mat- och dryckesutbud på vägarna. Vi jobbar ofta med kocklandslaget när vi tar fram nya materbjudanden och att lägga extra krut på ett veganskt, nyttigt och miljömässigt hållbart alternativ känns helt rätt i tiden. Det finns idag fler typer av matpreferenser än för några år sedan och detta behov vill vi såklart möta i vårt erbjudande, säger Anna-Karin Thörne.
