Coast Communications wins Swedish Prosecution Authority communications tender

Stockholm, 30 January 2012 – Coast Communications has been awarded the position of communications agency for the Swedish Prosecution Authority. The work will begin with a review of the authority’s use of social media in communications.

Coast Communications has recently completed an extensive report for a global American company on how social media can be developed further in the company’s external communications.

“It is ideal to start our collaboration with the Swedish Prosecution Authority with this type of review. Social media is definitely in focus and has taken communications to a whole new level during the last couple of years”, says KG Rickhamre, MD, Coast Communications. “Social media now plays an important part both in our advisory role as well as in our media training sessions and in the production of communication plans.”

For several years, Coast Communications has periodically supplied communications support to Swedish authorities, such as the Swedish Economic Crime Authority and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
