Per Olof Wallström new advisor in the Coast Communications Senior Advisory Board

Stockholm, June 27, 2012 - Coast Communications has expanded its advisory board with Per Olof Wallström. This represents a significant enhancement of communication advisor Coast’s capabilities. Currently Coast serves clients both in the pharmaceutical sector and biotechnology companies in Sweden as well as in UK.

Per Olof Wallström has approximately 40 years of experience in senior positions in biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the Nordics such as Merck, Astra, Pharmacia and Bristol-Myers Squibb. In his role as CEO, Per Olof Wallström led the Q-Med's expansion during and after the IPO. Since then he has served as CEO with life science company Karo Bio.

Coast Communications has worked on behalf of Per Olof Wallström during individual periods, primarily with medical applications in joint surgery during his time at Q-Med.

Per Olof Wallström will offer Coast Communications’ customers support primarily focused on financial issues in the pharmaceuticals and biotech sector.  

Coast Communications Senior Advisory Board consists of Caisa Alpsten, specialist in the field of internal communication and for several years, Coast Communications’ indoor partner, Lars Fahlén former Director of Human Resources at Gambro Group and client to Coast Communications in Stockholm and London and Gunnar Hesse, with extensive experience as CEO with Unisys Sverige, and assisting Coast Communications on a number of business proposals in the IT sector.
