Trash compactor innovation soon on the market

The inventor Göran Persson from southern Sweden is raising capital through crowdfunding to be able to launch his patented trash compactor Comprez.

Comprez is a functional tool which can be used to reduce volume of trash in plastic bags. It is simple and does not need an external power source. The process of emptying and carrying out trash can be simplified for everyone, especially for people with impaired motor skills.

With Comprez you can compact your trash bags before they are carried out and dropped in the garbage bin. By reducing the volume in your garbage bin you need smaller or fewer bins, which could reduce your fees for emptying garbage bins. Also businesses, schools, hospitals and other places where trash is collected can profit from using Comprez. Lower trash volumes lead to less transportation time, which reduces costs and is more environmentally friendly.

Another important advantage with Comprez is that you never need to touch the garbage with your hands. Not even if the trash can is overfilled, simply use Comprez to compact the trash and automatically seal the bag. The risk to be injured by glass or other sharp items is thereby limited.

The tool has been developed since 2013 by Comprez HB owned by Göran Persson and Roger Klotz. Arman Mudde, working for the company Join AB at the think tank Ideon in Lund, Sweden, has been development partner. The product and functionality has a Patent Pending. After many prototypes, tests and improvements the product is now ready for series production. “Comprez is finished and the market feed-back has been overwhelming. We hope to be able to start production as soon as possible”, says Göran Persson. Since manufacturing of moulds is quite expensive, the company has now chosen to crowdfund capital to be able to realize the Comprez.
