Investment banking prodigy Carl Wessberg is headlining Connect2Capital as Keynote Speaker

Recently listed as one of the top 101 most promising talents Sweden has to offer by Swedish business news outlet Veckans Affärer, GP Bullhound director Carl Wessberg has had an impressive career so far. In 2007 he started his investment banking career at Credit Suisse in London and has since moved on to join the investment banking firm GP Bullhound at their offices in Stockholm.

With a focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital transactions for high growth businesses, Carl has made a big splash in the tech investment scene. Having worked with well known and successful companies like Klarna, MatHem and Tobii Carl knows first hand the high relevance of the Nordic region when it comes to finding potential growth companies.

“As part of an international investment banking firm, I am especially proud to point out that Sweden has produced seven of Europe’s technology unicorns since 2000, second to the UK in absolute numbers, but number one in Europe on a per capita basis.” says Carl.

“Over the last few years, we have seen increased startup activity in western Sweden and Connect2Capital has been a key forum for facilitating introductions for those businesses to venture and strategic capital. Naturally, as advisors to leading European technology entrepreneurs, we would not want to miss out on such an opportunity.” he adds.

We’re proud to have Carl as Keynote Speaker at Connect2Capital 2017.
