Bergans aims to further increase the efficiency of its logistics operations and has signed an agreement with Consafe Logistics regarding the implementation of the WMS system, EffectWarehouse.

Bergans has two warehouses in Norway and one in Germany. EffectWarehouse will be implemented in all three warehouses. To date, warehouse operations have been governed by manual routines. With the introduction of EffectWarehouse, all procedures will be automated. Mobile terminals and voice-controlled operations will now take care of all recording and communication of warehouse transactions in real time. "We have made this investment in EffectWarehouse in order to reduce sources of error, optimise warehouse processes and provide more rapid access to correct information, making us more efficient and competitive as an organisation," explains Morten Kleven, Warehouse Manager for Bergans.
