2009-08-12 10:00
Recently several projects from Consafe Logistics Benelux have gone Live. The first results become visible. The projects will be evaluated and communicated after the summer period, but we already would like to give an update about what Consafe Logistics Benelux did do for which client.
A short update of the last trimester:
Veris Bouwmaterialen groep : WMS
This coordinating purchase organisation in construction materials for the chains Imabo and Bouwcenter has gone live with the WMS of Consafe Logistics. At this project a number of tailormade solutions have been carried out, such as the possibility to continue picking on an existing mixed pallet.
Telstar Trading: WMS including Voice
Telstar is a subsidiary company of ANWB, the dutch national drivers association. She is responsible for the supply of the ANWB-stores and also for the orders generated through the web shop of ANWB. The delivery of the shops was already for a long time controlled by the Sattstore WMS of Consafe Logistics. The web shop has recently been adapted. Now, the logistical settlement of these e-commerce orders is supported also directly by the WMS of Consafe Logistics. From this day on, customers of ANWB will be updated about the status of their order at all different stages. This is possible due to the track & trace information.
Consafe Logistics recently also installed a voice solution in the warehouses of Telstar. This voice system of supplier Vocollect is connected to the Consafe Logistics WMS.
Huisman Equipment: roll out WMS in China
Huisman is a multinational and producer of cranes, drilling platforms and other large constructions. Consafe Logistics is rolling out a WMS on a production site of Huisman in China. It involves an adapted version of the WMS of Consafe Logistics such as that is already controlling the logistical process at Huisman's site in Schiedam (NL). Special point of interest at this project is the connection with the Chinese cranes.
Heineken
At Brewery Heineken, they work with the WMS of Consafe Logistics for several years now to control their breweries in Zoeterwoude and ‘sHertogenbosch. Nowadays also the regional distribution centers are supported by this software. On a regular base the systems are upgraded or extended. This spring the Purchase to Pay application has been taken in use. This module ensures that also the raw materials for the brewing process are now handled by the WMS of Consafe.
