2012-02-23 14:17 STOCKHOLM/KÖPING, February 23, 2012 — The Swedish clean-tech company, Cortus, has succeeded for the first time, in a 500 kW gasification plant, to produce synthesis gas from biomass without traces of hydrocarbons. It has previously not been possible to produce completely pure biogas from biomass without generating impurities of hydrocarbons.

Det har tidigare inte varit möjligt att producera helt ren biogas från biomassa utan att få restprodukter av kolväten. 2011-02-20 13:53 Cortus will build an integrated production flow plant where the drying, pyrolysis and gasification of different biofuels can be run in the scale of 500 kW. The demo plant is expected to be in operation in spring 2011. The project also includes performing process samples prior to building the ten times larger demonstration plant in Köping.
