Queer Film Festival Mezipatra Prague & Brno

Festival of films with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer issues.

The Queer Film Festival MEZIPATRA is a specialized film festival competition that annually shows approximately one hundred top films with gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans and queer themes in Prague and Brno. Its purpose is to present the excellent work of world cinema shunned by mainstream culture to the widest possible audience. This international competition is accompanied by exhibitions, lectures, workshops, discussions, and parties. In addition to Prague and Brno, these films will appear in the form of festival echoes in other cities, such as Ostrava, Olomouc, Pilsen, Pardubice or České Budějovice.

Look at how the human body works!

What we all have in common is our amazing human body. Come discover the secrets and beauty of this unique exhibition. After the huge success of the exhibition The Human Body Exhibition, which enchanted Prague, a larger and more detailed exhibition about the human body the - BODIES REVEALED exhibition was launched in August. The collection of human bodies preserved through unique conservation methods will reveal the complexity of our bodies.

Closing Gala Concert for the Year of Czech Music 2014

The Year of Czech Music is coming to an end, come and recollect the most famous classical works of Czech composers!

The Closing Gala Concert for the Year of Czech Music 2014 at O2 Arena in Prague is one of the biggest and most important projects organized by the Association of Music Festivals in the Czech Republic and the Association of Symphony Orchestras and Choirs of the Czech Republic.

The Year of Czech Music, which will culminate in the Gala Concert, contributes to raising awareness of Czech music at home and abroad and also to strengthening the prestige of Czech culture and by extension the whole Czech Republic on the international scene. The final concert will feature the world's top Czech and world leaders in the performing arts. The concert will be a prestigious social event, which will also support the position and reputation of the partners involved in its realization.

Prague Christmas markets

The largest Christmas markets in the Czech Republic with a charming atmosphere.

The Christmas markets in Prague are among the best known in Europe. Old Town and Havel Square in Old Town, Wenceslas Square and Republic Square, Peace Square and the Holešovice Exhibition Grounds – these are the places where Prague celebrates Advent and Christmas. Let yourself be drawn into tradition, a rich cultural program, glittering atmosphere and typical Christmas gastronomic specialties. Of course, you will find plenty of stalls selling Christmas decorations and ornaments, candles, candy, gingerbread, and small gifts. And if you want to enjoy the best moment, come to Old Town Square on Saturday, November 29th, when the large Christmas tree will be lit for the first time!
