DREAMHACK AND INTEL JOIN FORCES FOR THE 2015 SEASON

This year Intel will move its co-operation with DreamHack to the next level – both online and offline - and will as part of that also become one of the main sponsors of DreamHack Open, DreamHack´s premiere eSports franchise featuring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and StarCraft II.

11 March 2015, Stockholm, Sweden – Over the past seven years, Intel has been present at the DreamHack Winter editions in Sweden and recently also on site reached out to visitors on the DreamHack events in Bucharest and Valencia following DreamHack’s expansion beyond Swedish borders. On top of this, with 15 editions of the Intel Pack4DreamHack concept, Intel has enabled over 550 Dutch gamers to go to DreamHack and experience the DreamHack flagship events in Sweden. This year, the relationship will reach a next level with even more collaboration throughout 2015. This will include exclusive content for the DreamHack community, attractive promotions and physical Intel presence at more DreamHack events. Today, we’re therefore happy to announce that, as part of above increased commitment to the DreamHack enthusiast and gaming community, Intel will also join as a major sponsor for DreamHack Open 2015

Launched in 2012, DreamHack Open is DreamHack’s premiere eSports tour featuring seven live LAN stops across Europe, open to both amateur and professional players. DreamHack Open has featured StarCraft II since 2012 and will additionally feature Counter Strike: Global Offensive as the second official title in 2015.
