2012-06-30 08:00 Haydn's opera Orlando Paladino, which will open at the Drottningholms Slottsteater on July 29, is based on the medieval legend of the knight Roland (Orlando), who is madly in love with Angelica, Queen of Cathay. The performance stars Rickard Söderberg, Kirsten Blaise and Pietro Spagnoli, all of whom are internationally known for their interpretation of 18th century opera.

He has studied at the State Academy of Music in Oslo and at the Royal Opera Academy in Copenhagen. In Orlando paladino at Drottningholms Slottsteater summer 2012, Staveland plays the saracen warrior Medoro.

Debut in 1999 at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen as Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro. In Orlando paladino at Drottningholms Slottsteater, summer 2012, she has the part of Alcina, the sorceress.
