2012-06-30 16:37 This Summer the Drottningholm Slottsteater presents Joseph Haydn's opera Orlando Paladino, directed by Sigrid T'Hooft. In August Peter Mattei sings Mozart in two concerts with the Drottningholm Theatre Orchestra. The popular family performance with The Romeo & Julia Choir of Tobaksladans hemligheter is back. The Romeo & Julia Choir is also presenting Monteverdi, a drama concert for all ages.
2012-06-30 08:00 Haydn's opera Orlando Paladino, which will open at the Drottningholms Slottsteater on July 29, is based on the medieval legend of the knight Roland (Orlando), who is madly in love with Angelica, Queen of Cathay. The performance stars Rickard Söderberg, Kirsten Blaise and Pietro Spagnoli, all of whom are internationally known for their interpretation of 18th century opera.

Mark Tatlow is a Conductor, Pianist, Teacher and Educator. He is the Artistic Director of Drottningholm Court Theatre since 2007 and Professor of Musical Studies, University College of Opera, Stockholm 2002-2012. He is also Musical Advisor of Musikskolan Lilla Akademien (The Junior Academy, Stockholm).
