15 researchers in Göteborg receive MSEK 13.7 from the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation to develop methods to treat people suffering from heart, lung or vascular diseases.

Anna-Carin Olin, Senior Lecturer, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, is one of the researchers who will recieve money. Anna-Carin Olin also recieved verification grant in 2010 from GöteborgBIOin collaboration with  Sahlgrenska Science Park.

Thanks to donors throughout Sweden, the Foundation can now distribute MSEK 165 to the country's leading heart, vascular and lung researchers. The money shall be used for research that results in lives being saved and which improves treatment for those inflicted by among things heart attack, sudden heart failure, stroke and COPD.
